10 More WA Counties Can Apply for Phase 2

Today, Governor Inslee announced a list of 10 more counties eligible to apply for a variance to move to Phase 2 of Washington State’s Safe Start recovery plan in response to COVID-19 pandemic:

• Adams
• Clark
• Clallam
• Island
• Kitsap
• Lewis
• Mason
• Thurston
• San Juan
• Spokane

Counties are eligible to apply for a variance if they have less than 10 new cases per 100,000 residents over a 14-day span. 22 WA State counties are now eligible to apply for a variance in order to move to Phase 2. Of the 22 counties eligible, 10 WA counties are currently in Phase 2.
